Chinese Recipes Using Our Appetizing Sauce

Dan Dan Noodles

Ingredients:

• 8 ounces Chinese wheat noodles
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
• 1/4 cup Dan Dan Sauce
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon black vinegar
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts

Instructions:

• Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and keep them aside.
• Take a pan and heat vegetable oil over medium heat. 
• Sauté garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes until they release a pleasant aroma. 
• Mix in Dan Dan Sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil, and cook for an additional minute. 
• Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss them thoroughly to ensure they are coated with the sauce. 
• Serve the dish by garnishing it with chopped green onions and roasted peanuts. Enjoy!

Dan Dan Tofu

Ingredients:

• 14 ounces firm tofu, cubed
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
• 1/4 cup Dan Dan Sauce
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1/2 cup vegetable broth
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with two ts water
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

• Begin by heating a generous amount of vegetable oil in a big skillet or wok, ensuring the heat is set to medium-high. 
• Carefully place the tofu cubes into the pan, allowing them to sizzle and transform into a delightful golden brown hue on all sides. Once achieved, gently remove the tofu from the pan and set it aside for now. 
• In the same pan, put garlic and ginger, sautéing them together for a brief period of 1-2 minutes, letting their enticing aromas fill the air. 
• Combine the magnificent Dan Dan Sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and vegetable broth, blending them harmoniously within the pan until they reach a gentle simmer. 
• Once the sauce is ready, return the tofu to the pan, allowing it to mix with the flavors for an additional 2-3 minutes. For a lusciously thickened sauce, stir in the cornstarch mixture and allow it to work its magic for one final minute of cooking. 
• As a finishing touch, sprinkle the dish with freshly chopped green onions and a scattering of sesame seeds, enhancing its appearance and adding a burst of flavor. 

Dan Dan Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

• 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
• 1/4 cup Dan Dan Sauce
• 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 red bell pepper, sliced
• 1 cup snap peas
• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

• Put vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok and heat it on medium-high flame. Add the chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and keep them aside; you work on other things.
• Add garlic, ginger, and sauté in the same pan for 1-2 minutes.
• Stir in the Dan Dan Sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Mix well.
• Add the bell pepper and snap peas to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
• Add the cooked chicken back into the pan and toss all the ingredients together, ensuring they are thoroughly coated with the sauce.
• Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
