Dan Dan Broccoli


  • Broccoli - 1 head - cut into florets
  • Minced garlic - 2 cloves
  • Chinese Laundry Dan Dan Sauce - 2~3 tbsp depending on how spicy you like it


  • Bring a pot of water to boil, add a heaping teaspoon of salt (helps the broccoli stay green)
  • Blanch broccoli florets in salted boiling water until cooked
  • Remove blanched broccoli from water and place in a bowl, add Dan Dan Sauce and toss until broccoli florets and evenly coated
  • Plate and garnish with minced garlic
